Next Door Tutor was created by former Heathside Student Principal and current University of Bath undergraduate Aiden Ahmad-Hambling in the Summer of 2021.
James Govey, a Computer Science undergraduate at the University of Birmingham, later joined the Next Door Tutor team.
In Next Door Tutor's first year we provided over 500 sessions to the youth of Surrey. These sessions helped our tutees regain confidence and knowledge after the difficulties that COVID-19 caused for their educations.
After popular demand, we have made the decision to continue Next Door Tutor for the 2022/23 academic year.
We provide sessions for students from year 3 to year 11 in almost every subject. All our tutors are local Sixth Form students who excelled at GCSE and are predicted top A-level grades for the subjects they tutor. This not only makes them relatable role models for your children, but they also understand what it takes to achieve top grades.
